This CD-Text Plugin is only for Winamp versions below 5.31 required and works only with Winamp versions below 5.31. Since Winamp 5.31 the CD-Text support is without this plugin possible.
Question:
Why doesn’t show the Winamp Player the titles of my homemade Audio-CD’s? I’ve burned the titles as CD-Text! My CD player in the car shows the titles!
Answer:
The Winamp Player don’t have this feature. But when you install an additional modul a so called ‘Plugin’ the player can show the titles from the CD-Text of the Audio-CD’s.
Jentschi’s CD-Text plugin for Winamp can read the CD-Text from Audio-CD’s. For using this feature you must have burned CD-Text to your Audio-CD’s.
What is CD-Text? Here is an explanation.

version 1.2.0: Jentschi’s CD-Text plugin runs now on Windows 98, Windows ME, Windows 2000 and Windows XP. Older versions run only on Windows 2000 and Windows XP.
version 1.1.0: Jentschi’s CD-Text plugin shows now the artists for each title. Older versions shows only the titles.
